Once you've downloaded the Blinq app, we'll guide you through creating a Blinq Card and Account.
1. Open the Blinq app.
2. Tap on Create my card.
3. Add your name, then tap Continue.
4. Add your work email and phone number, then tap Continue.
Your work email in this instance is the email address shown on your Blinq card. This is not the email address that your account will be associated with (we'll get to that below!)
5. Add your Company name, Job title and Company website, then tap Continue.
6. Add your Company logo - you can auto-detect this (we'll automatically search the web for a logo that matches the company name you've input), or you can add one from your photo library.
7. Add a Profile picture by selecting an image from your photo library, or use your camera to take one.
Images must be saved to your device in order to upload via the Photo Library. Blinq supports .jpg, .JPEG and .png image file types only.
8. Add your the email address you would like to use to login to Blinq in the Personal email field. Alternatively, select Continue with Google/Microsoft/Apple to log in using the respective account to login and follow the prompts to finalise the setup.
9. Tap Continue to set your password.
The email address you select for the 'Personal email' field will not be shown on your card. This is purely the email address you will use to log into your account, and the one that Blinq notifications will be sent to.
10. Your card and QR code will now generate and link to your account!
11. You will be prompted to upgrade to Blinq Premium to access additional features and customization options
12. Follow the on-screen prompts to add a Blinq Widget to your home screen (this step is optional).
13. Tap Add to my card if you want others to view the location of your first meeting when viewing your card. (This is optional, so you can simply tap Not now if you do not wish to add this.)
The Where We Met field is visible within a Blinq Card in your Contact list. Both cards require this field to be active in order for the location of the connection to be visible within the relevant Contact card.
Your card and account are now set up, and you're ready to share your Blinq card!
