You can add notes for each contact you add to Blinq as a handy way to add additional information they may not have included on their card, or anything related to your real-life interaction.

These can be viewed by opening your contact's card in Blinq, and scrolling to the bottom.  Notes are not visible to the contact you've added them to.

Via Blinq app:

1. Tap the Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen.

2. Select the relevant contact.

3. Tap Add note.

4. Enter your note in the text box within the pop-up, and tap Save at the top right to save this to the card.

5. You can add more notes by tapping Add note again.

6. You can Edit any existing notes by tapping on the note text, editing the note in the text box, then tapping Save at the top right once done.

Via Dashboard:

1. Log into dash.blinq.me on a computer or tablet browser.

2. Click on the Contacts tab on the left-hand side menu of the dashboard.

3. Select the relevant contact.

4. Click Create note at the top right of the screen.

5. Enter your note in the text-box, then click Save changes at the top right of the screen.

6. You can Edit any existing notes by clicking on the note you want to edit, editing the note in the text box, then tapping Save changes at the top right of the screen.

7. To delete a note, click on the note to select it, then click Delete at the top of the screen.   Notes cannot be restored once deleted.  So think carefully before completing this!

Note:

If you have been added to a Blinq Business account as a Team Member, and have shared your contact with your company, any notes that you've added to the contact will not be viewable by any Team Admins. The same goes for any notes added to the contact by an admin—these will not be visible to the Team Member who shared the contact via their login.
