Once you've downloaded the Blinq app, we'll guide you through creating a Blinq Card and account in just a few minutes.
What you'll need:
▶ The Blinq app downloaded on your phone (iOS or Android)
▶ A few details on hand: your name, work email, phone number, and company information
Step 1: Begin!
Open the Blinq app.
Tap Create my card.
Step 2: Add your contact details
Add your name, then tap Continue.
Add your work email and phone number, then tap Continue.
Tip | Your work email here is the email address shown on your Blinq card. This is not the email address your account will be associated with. We'll get to that below. |
Step 3: Add your company details
Add your Company name, Job title, and Company website, then tap Continue.
Add your Company logo: auto-detect it (Blinq will search the web for a logo matching the company name you entered), or upload one from your photo library.
Step 4: Add a profile picture
Add a Profile picture by selecting an image from your photo library, or take one with your camera.
Tip | Images must be saved to your device before uploading via the Photo Library. Blinq supports .jpg, .JPEG, and .png files only. |
Step 5: Set up your Blinq account login
Add the email address you'd like to use to log in to Blinq in the Personal email field. Alternatively, select Continue with Google/Microsoft/Apple and follow the prompts to finish setup.
Tap Continue to set your password.
Tip | The email address you select for the Personal email field will not be shown on your card. This is purely the address you'll use to log into your account, and the one Blinq notifications will be sent to. |
Step 6: Finish setup
Your card and QR code will now generate and link to your account.
You'll be prompted to upgrade to Blinq Premium for additional features and customization options.
Follow the on-screen prompts to add a Blinq Widget to your home screen (optional).
Tap Add to my card if you'd like others to see the location of your first meeting when viewing your card, or tap Not now to skip.
Tip | The Where we met field is visible within a Blinq Card in your Contact list. Both cards require this field to be active for the connection location to show on the relevant Contact card. |
Your card and account are now set up, and you're ready to share your Blinq card!
