How it works
Share your card as usual, by tag tap, QR code, or link.
If the recipient doesn't have Blinq installed, iOS opens your App Clip automatically.
They can view your card details right away.
From the App Clip, they can save your contact to their phone or share their details back to you, with no install.
The full Blinq app is only needed if the recipient wants to view your card again inside Blinq or create their own card.
Personalized App Clips
By default, an App Clip shows a standard preview of your card. A personalised preview adds your own header image, title, and subtitle, so your App Clip reflects your brand the moment it opens.
Personalised previews are rolling out gradually. If yours isn't ready yet, your card still opens an App Clip with the standard preview, and the personalised version appears once it's available.

Do I need to do anything to get an App Clip for my card?
No setup is needed. Every Blinq card opens an App Clip when you share it to an iPhone.
If I share my card with someone, do they have to download the app?
No. They can view and save your details to their device without downloading Blinq. The app is only needed if they want to view your card again inside Blinq or create their own.
Is an App Clip an app download on someone else's phone?
No. An App Clip isn't a full app. It's removed automatically after 30 days, and they can delete it manually at any time. Read more from Apple.
Why doesn't my App Clip look personalised?
Personalised previews are rolling out gradually. Until yours is ready, your card opens with the standard preview.
