Event Badges: packages, pricing & how it works

This article explains the two packages available, what's included in each, pricing, and what to expect once you place an order.

Blinq Event Badges turns a standard event badge into an instant networking tool. Each badge comes pre-linked to a digital business card, so attendees can swap and save details with a quick scan. Using the Blinq app is entirely optional, and there are no paper cards to fumble with.

Choosing your package

We offer two ways to run Blinq at your event. Pick the one that matches how much you'd like us to handle.

Option 1: Full Service package

$19.99 USD per attendee, minimum 100 attendees

The done-for-you option. Send us your attendee list and we handle everything end to end so your badges arrive ready to wear.

  • Badge design - professionally designed badges with a built-in QR code

  • Badge printing - all badges printed and ready to go

  • Lanyards - supplied in your choice of colour

  • Shipping - badges and lanyards delivered to you

  • Digital card provisioning - a Blinq digital business card created for every attendee

  • Custom email to attendees - a branded email introducing their card ahead of the event

Optional add-on:

  • Custom-branded lanyards - add your own branding to the lanyards for +$4.99 per attendee

⏱️ Lead time: Please allow two weeks from the point of list upload for the Full Service package. Uploading your attendee list early keeps you comfortably ahead of your event date.


Option 2: Lite package

$9.99 USD per attendee, minimum 50 attendees

Prefer to use your own badge or name-tag design? The Lite package gives you the digital layer to drop straight into your existing artwork.

Included:

  • Digital card provisioning - a Blinq digital business card created for every attendee

  • URLs and QR codes supplied - ready for you to add to your own badge or name-tag designs

  • Custom email to attendees - a branded email introducing their card ahead of the event

With Lite, you keep full control of your badge design and printing. We provision the cards and hand you everything you need to make each badge scannable.


How it works

Whichever package you choose, the process is the same:

  1. Upload your list - send us your attendee details via CSV and we auto-create a digital card for each person.

  2. Design - for Full Service, we design your badges with your logo, colours and layout. For Lite, you add the supplied QR codes and URLs to your own design.

  3. Print and ship - Full Service badges and lanyards are printed and delivered to you. With Lite, you print your own.

  4. Go live - attendees scan badges to access and save details instantly. They can use the Blinq app or save directly to their phone.


FAQ

Is there a minimum order?

The Full Service package has a minimum of 100 attendees. The Lite package has a minimum of 50.

How long does it take?

Full Service orders take two weeks from list upload. We recommend uploading your list as early as possible. Lite can be delivered in as little as 48 hours.

Can I brand the lanyards?

Yes. Custom-branded lanyards are available on the Full Service package for +$4.99 per attendee. This may extend lead times based on supplier availability.

Do attendees need to download an app?

No. Blinq cards work instantly on iOS, Android and web with no app or sign-in required.

Can I choose the lanyard colour?

Yes. Full Service includes lanyards in your choice of colour as standard.
