How billing works
At the start of your billing cycle, you're charged for every active card in your workspace.
A minimum charge equal to 5 cards applies to every Business subscription, regardless of billing cycle.
Add cards mid-cycle and they're billed pro-rata, from their date of creation to your monthly anniversary (annual plans) or your monthly renewal date (monthly plans).
Remove a card mid-cycle and its seat stays open at no extra charge. Assign a new card to that seat and you won't pay twice for it.
If your card count drops during a cycle, your bill resets to match your current active card count at renewal.
Note: An active card includes any card that's been created and not deleted, even if the recipient hasn't claimed it yet. Unclaimed cards still count toward your seat total, because their QR code and link are already live and shareable.
Signing up
When you sign up, you choose how many cards to start with (minimum of five) and you're charged for them straight away. If you add more cards later, they're billed pro rata to your renewal date.
FAQ
Is there a minimum number of cards I'll be charged for?
Yes. Every Blinq Business subscription has a minimum charge equal to 5 cards, on both monthly and annual billing. If your workspace has fewer than 5 active cards, you're still charged for 5.
What happens if I remove a card partway through my billing cycle?
The seat stays open at no extra cost. Add a new card to fill it and you won't pay twice for the same seat.
