Blinq's refer and earn program, powered by our partner Cello, lets you share a personal invite link with your network. When someone joins using your link and upgrades to a paid plan, you both benefit.

1. Open the Blinq mobile app on iOS or Android and tap the ☰menu icon.

2. Select Refer and earn.

3. Share your personal invite link with your network.

4. When someone signs up using your link and upgrades to a paid plan, your reward is tracked automatically and appears on your Rewards screen.

As the referrer, you earn 15% of what your referral pays, up to $20 per referred customer. There's no limit on how many people you can refer, so the more people who sign up and upgrade through your link, the more you can earn.

Rewards only apply once your referral becomes a paying customer. If someone signs up for a free plan, they'll show up in your rewards list, but no reward is earned until they upgrade. The person you refer gets 10% off their Premium or Pro plan.

Rewards are paid in cash, not account credit or a discount. Payouts are handled by Cello, our referral program partner, and sent to your PayPal or Venmo account. You don't need to add any payment details upfront.

Cello will prompt you to set this up once you've earned your first reward, and takes care of any required tax forms. Reward payments will appear from "Cello", not Blinq. This is expected and not a sign of fraud.

Anyone with a Blinq account can refer others, including customers on the Free plan.

You can refer new users, existing Free users, and lapsed or expired subscribers. Someone who's currently on a paid plan can't be referred.

Referring yourself, or referring someone who upgrades and then cancels shortly after, is treated as fraud. Cello reviews flagged activity and removes any related rewards.

As the referrer: open the Blinq mobile app, tap the menu icon, and select Refer and Earn. Your rewards and referral history are tracked on the Rewards screen inside.

As the referred person: tap the invite link you were sent. This opens a landing page where you can create a Blinq account, choose a Premium or Pro plan, and check out with your 10% discount already applied.

You'll then be prompted to download the Blinq app. Refer and Earn is currently available on mobile only, for both iOS and Android.

Can I refer someone who already has a Blinq account?

Yes, as long as they're on the Free plan or their subscription has lapsed or expired. Someone currently on a paid plan can't be referred.

Why does the payment show as "Cello" and not "Blinq"?

Cello is our referral program partner and handles reward payouts directly, so payments will show as coming from Cello rather than Blinq. This is expected.
