When someone shares their Blinq card with you, you can save their details straight into your phone's own Contacts app. There's nothing to install, saving works right from your browser.
What you'll need
A Blinq card to share
A QR code or Blinq link
Save via iOS
Scan a Blinq card QR code or open the Blinq link.
Select Save Contact from the card view, then select View from the pop-up.
Select Done from the preview screen to confirm saving to your device.
The contact is now saved to your Contacts app.
Share your details back by completing the lead capture form.
Save via Android
Have your recipient scan your QR code or open your Blinq link.
Your Blinq card opens in their default phone browser, where they can interact with your links directly.
Tap Save Contact to start saving the contact to your device.
From the pop-up, select Save to contacts.
Tap Download to download the vcf file to your device.
Tap Open once the file has finished downloading.
Select where you'd like to save the contact, either a Google account or device storage.
Your contact is now saved, and you can view it in the Contacts app on your Android device.
Note: Not saving on Samsung? Enable notification permissions for the Contacts app.
Tip: Saving your contact is powered by Blinq, but it won't download the app. The view on your device may differ slightly from the screenshots in this article, since user interfaces vary between Android brands and models.
