Creating a Team Email Signature

Admins can create email signatures and assign them to team members directly from the Blinq dashboard. Once created, the signature appears in the team member's account for them to add to their email client.

Required role: Owner or Admin on a Blinq Business account.

Steps

  1. Log in to dash.blinq.me on a desktop or tablet browser.

  2. Click Email Signatures in the left-hand menu.

  3. Click Create Email Signature.

  4. Under "Who is this email signature for?", select Team member.

Choose a starting point

  1. Select Use card details and pick the card to import from, or click Start from scratch.

    Note: You don't need to have a Blinq card set up for the team member - you can build from scratch. If you've already added the team member to your account, their details will pre-fill once you enter their name in the "Assigned to" field.

    Importing from a card does not link the card to the signature - changes to the card won't flow through automatically.

  2. The team member's email address will pre-fill.

  3. Click Next.

Build the signature

  1. Details - Add or remove personal details and contact information. Everything here appears as text in the signature body.

  2. Images - Add, change, or remove images.

  3. Links - Add, edit, or remove social media and third-party links. These appear as icons below the signature body.

  4. Design - Adjust theme colours and icon style.

  5. Banners - Add a custom or templated banner beneath the signature (image or text-based).

  6. Settings - Toggle Prevent editing signature to lock the signature so only Owners and Admins can make changes. Leave it off to allow the team member to make their own edits.

Finish up

  1. Click Create Signature under the preview.

The signature will now appear in the team member's Blinq account under Email Signatures.

Note: The team member must have claimed their Blinq account to access their assigned signature. Admins cannot send signatures directly to a team member's email - the team member needs to add it themselves from the dashboard (see Adding Your Blinq Signature to an Email Client).

Note: HTML email signatures are available on Blinq Business plans. To enable this feature for your team, contact Blinq Support.
