All platforms follow the same first steps to copy your signature from the Blinq dashboard, then differ in where you paste it.
Note: The Outlook and Gmail mobile apps only support plain-text signatures. Apple Mail for iPhone is the only mobile email client that currently supports Blinq's image-based signatures.
Step 1 – Copy your signature from Blinq
These steps are the same for all platforms:
Log in to dash.blinq.me on a desktop or tablet browser.
Click Email Signatures in the left-hand menu.
Team members: Your admin-assigned signature will appear here. If you're an admin adding your own signature, make sure you're on the Personal tab.
Click the Add to client button next to the signature you want to use.
Select your platform from the tabs at the top of the pop-up.
Click Copy signature (or Send signature for iPhone - see below).
Gmail
Log in to your Gmail account.
Click the gear icon (top right) and select See all settings.
Scroll down to the Signature section and create a new signature.
Give your signature a name.
Paste the copied signature into the text box.
Under Signature Defaults, set your new signature as the default for new emails and replies.
Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
Outlook
Log in to your Outlook account.
Click the gear icon (top right) and search for "Email Signature".
Paste the copied signature into the signature editor.
Click Save.
Apple Mail (Mac desktop)
Open the Mail app on your Mac.
Go to Mail > Settings in the menu bar, then open the Signatures tab.
Click the + button to create a new signature.
Make sure "Always match my default message font" is unchecked, then paste your signature (⌘V) into the right-hand column.
Note: Due to an Apple Mail quirk, the signature may not appear to render in the right-hand column after pasting - but it will display correctly when you send an email.
Close the Signatures window.
When composing a new email, select your signature from the signature picker.
Tip: If your signature doesn't appear in the picker, it may need to be dragged into the correct account in the Signatures Settings window.
Apple Mail (iPhone)
The iPhone flow is slightly different because you need to send the signature to yourself first.
In the Blinq pop-up, click Send signature - this emails the signature block to you.
Open that email on your iPhone.
Select and copy the entire email content, including Blinq's greeting text.
Open the Settings app, scroll down and tap Mail.
Tap the Signature field and paste the copied content.
Shake your iPhone - when the Undo prompt appears, tap Undo.
Delete the greeting text, leaving only the signature image.
