1. Relationship Intelligence
Relationship Intelligence is the advanced capability layer within Blinq Business. It powers a set of features designed to help teams capture leads, build and retain context from in-person conversations, and turn real-world interactions into structured data and workflows to maximize value from in-person connections.
These capabilities are available under the Blinq Business plan and are billed based on usage through a simple credit system. Credits allow teams to start using advanced features immediately, test workflows safely, and scale usage as value is proven.
Usage of a credit-based model allows Blinq Business users to pay for advanced features only in line with actual usage rather than charging more per seat, ensuring any charges align with value delivered.
Features powered by Relationship Intelligence
Relationship Intelligence powers features including:
Universal Scanner for capturing contacts from event badges and QR codes
AI Notetaker for recording and summarising conversations
Contact enrichment to add missing details of contacts created (email, phone, job title, etc.)
Native CRM exports and workflow automation
Zapier-based exports and integrations
Common use cases Typical use cases of Relationship Intelligence include:
Event lead capture
Using the full suite of Relationship Intelligence as a comprehensive solution for capturing leads and context across in-person events. Teams can scan badges, enrich contacts automatically, capture conversation notes, and sync everything to their CRM in real time.

Real estate and property viewings
Capturing prospective buyer or tenant details at inspections and open homes and attaching notes about preferences, budgets, and follow-up actions. This reduces manual data entry and ensures CRM records reflect real conversations, not just contact details.
Field sales and on-site teams
Supporting teams that work in the field, such as account managers, partnerships, or territory sales. Relationship Intelligence allows teams to capture leads and notes on the go and automatically sync them into central systems without relying on manual follow-ups.
Sales meetings and conferences
Capturing contacts and conversation context during in-person sales meetings and conferences. Relationship Intelligence helps sales teams retain accurate notes, follow up faster, and avoid losing critical context after high-volume interactions.
Recruitment and talent events
Collecting candidate details at career fairs, university events, and networking sessions, with structured notes and enrichment to support later screening and outreach.
2. How credits work
Credits
Credits are a shared unit that measure usage across Relationship Intelligence features. Each time your team performs a credit-consuming action, a defined number of credits is used (see further below).
Credits are tracked at the workspace level rather than per user. This allows teams to collaborate freely without needing to manage individual limits.
Free credits
Every Blinq Business workspace receives a one-time allocation of 500 free credits upon sign-up. This is to provide the opportunity to trial workflows such as event lead capture during a trade show in a risk-free way without incurring any costs.
Free credits are applied automatically, do not expire, and are consumed before any paid credits.
Credit consumption rates
Relationship Intelligence features currently consume credits at the following rates:
Contact creation with Universal Scanner: 5 credits
Contact enrichment (phone, email, profile): 0 credits (free)
AI Notetaker recording (per minute): 0.15 credits
Native CRM export (per contact): 5 credits
Zapier export (per contact): 0 credits (free)
NB: Credit consumption rates may change over time and will be reflected above.
Viewing credit usage
Currently, detailed credit usage and breakdowns are available upon request via Blinq Support. If you need help understanding how credits are being consumed or want assistance reviewing usage, our support team can help.
Blinq will proactively flag to account administrators via email when 80% and 100% of their free credits have been consumed to ensure no unexpected billing occurs and discounted credit packages can be purchased prior to further consumption.
3. Pricing
Pay-as-you-go pricing
Any credits consumed beyond the included free credits are billed monthly at a rate of $1 USD per credit. This ensures there are no interruptions to service and your team can continue working without friction while maintaining predictable billing.
Purchasing credits in bulk
Teams with higher or more predictable usage can purchase credits in bulk at discounted rates. Bulk credit purchases are available through Blinq’s sales team. You can contact our sales team here.
4. Billing
Billing is based on actual consumption of credits (over and above free credits) and the corresponding price per credit, billed monthly in arrears (i.e. credits consumed in January will be charged for in February).
5. Practical examples
The examples below are illustrative and are intended to drive clarity.
Example 1 - Free Credit Usage
A team starts using Relationship Intelligence at a trade show, scanning 40 event badges and syncing the leads to their CRM:
40 scans * 5 credits = 200 credits
40 leads synced to CRM * 5 credits = 200 credits
40 lead enrichments * 0 credits = 0 credits
In this case, 400 credits were consumed. As this does not exceed the 500 free credits provided, no billing will occur.
Example 2 - Regular Billing
A team has already used up their free credits and consumes 15 hours of AI notetaker in the month of February to create AI summaries of in-person conversations:
15 hours * 60 (minutes) * 0.15 = 135 credits
In this case, 135 credits were consumed in February meaning $135 will be billed in the month of March.
Example 3 - Free Trial
A team commences a 30-day free trial of Blinq and during this period attends a trade show and scans 80 event badges with leads synced to their CRM:
80 scans * 5 credits = 400 credits
80 CRM syncs * 5 credits = 400 credits
80 enrichments * 0 credits = 0 credits
In this case, 800 credits were consumed. Because credit consumption was within the 30-day free trial period, no billing will occur.
